Electrical Technician ndash; Waste Management Circa GBP44,092 + benefits + OT Central London MC Technical Recruitment are currently seeking an Electrical Technician to join the maintenance department of a wate management facility in central London, just north of the River Thames. The Electrical Technician will be responsible for pre-planned and reactive maintenance, repairs and modifications across the site to ensure maximum plant availability. Roles and Responsibilities As the Electrical Technician, you will be responsible for: Fault finding, repair work and planned reactive maintenance on a wide range of plant equipment including variable cranes, compactors, transformers, hydraulics, emergency lighting and conveyors etc. Attending breakdowns when required. Assisting with some basic mechanical work on occasions Maintaining accurate maintenance records using the CMMS Working with the highest regards to health and safety Managing contractors when required This is a days based role working Monday to Friday 7am till 4pm To be considered for this role you should have: A relevant engineering apprenticeship along with a qualification at NVQ level 3 / City Guilds ideally in electrical engineering or similar. 17th or 18th edition At least 4 years of experience working in a hands-on electrical maintenance or servicing roles across a heavy process industry e.g., industrial site, waste management, recycling, water treatment or even building services/facilities management Some experience working with PLCs would be advantageous Ideally experience managing and directing contractors Salary and benefits This role comes with A starting salary up to circa GBP44,092 Company pension Overtime at 1.5x and double on Sundays 28 days holiday Medical plan Further benefits If you are interested in this role, please apply via the link below or contact Will at MC Technical Recruitment on (phone number removed)/ (url removed) for a confidential chat
