Finance manager

Title: Finance Manager Salary: GBP45,000 - GBP60,000 Location: Fitzrovia/Soho, London - (100% remote initially, then 3 days in the office) Our client is a charity organisation within the arts media sector, headquartered in Central London. They are currently looking for a technically adept Finance Manager. Supporting the Financial Controller, the ideal candidate will be responsible for the accounting, tax, financial reporting, performance and working capital management for the company. Job Responsibilities: bull; Update and maintain the organisation rsquo;s bookkeeping system bull; Set up new bookkeeping and accounts systems as required bull; Prepare monthly P L statements, balance sheets and cash flow reports bull; Ensure compliance with Charities Commission regulations and have an understanding of SORP and SOFA accounting. bull; Prepare documentation and assist with the annual audit process, liaising with auditors to provide necessary information and resolve any queries. Manage the data integrity of the Financial Systems and documentation, including filing invoices. bull; Handle receipts and payments bull; Process Gift Aid claims where applicable bull; Support the organisation with projects and tasks as required bull; Respond to queries over the telephone, email and face to face Requirements: bull; Educated to degree level. AAT /ACCA / CIMA qualified bull; Previous experience working in a similar role bull; Previous experience of charity and non-profit accounting bull; Experience of creating management accounts as well as delivering general bookkeeping bull; Working knowledge of bookkeeping software and Xero bull; Making payments
