Finance manager law firm

My client is seeking a Finance Manager to join their growing law firm in central London. The successful individual will lead the firms Accounts team and take control of the finance function. You will be a qualified or part-qualified accountant, ideally with experience in a law firm. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic growing practice and be part of the management team that will take the firm forward. Responsibilities will include: Effective management of the accounts team, ensuring that all day-to-day functions are carried out promptly and accurately. Preparing management reports, cashflows, budgets and other management information required by the Partners. Managing a team and developing systems and information to enhance both financial control and performance. Preparing monthly forecasts and maintaining and updating supporting financial models. Preparation of monthly management accounts. Treasury management. Working capital management. Preparation of audit and statutory accounts. Payroll management. Maintain, review and improve the firm rsquo;s core accounts procedures. Qualifications and Experience: Knowledge of the SRA Accounts rules Experience of producing management accounts Knowledge of VAT relating to professional practices Exceptional accuracy and attention to details Leadership and management Excellent communication and IT skills Understanding of Money Laundering Regulations Qualified or part-qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA) Should you have any questions or wish to apply please do not hesitate to contact Clear Legal Recruitment Limited.
