Npi engineer

Actio Technical Recruitment are assisting one of our highly successful Poole-based Electronics clients with their search for an NPI (New Product Introduction) Engineer. The Role In this dynamic role, the successful candidate will work with different departments, customers and suppliers to introduce new products and machinery into the manufacturing process. Reporting directly to the Technical Manager, your main duties will include: bull; Production and maintenance of documentation bull; Programming of surface mount (SMT), selective and concoat machines bull; Responding to queries from customers and all other areas of the company bull; Machine maintenance and associated record keeping bull; Undertaking engineering continuous improvement projects bull; Analyse documentation and determine production best practice bull; Creation of jigs and tooling bull; Understanding new projects and communicating the needs of the project throughout the company bull; Following product from prototype through to full assembly bull; Introducing new manufacturing techniques where necessary About You We are looking for someone who has a proven interest in Engineering, knowledge of manufacturing processes and familiar with regulatory standards such as AS9100. bull; A Critical thinker bull; Possess a technical curiosity bull; Good IT and numeracy skills bull; Maintain high quality standards bull; Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment bull; Multitask bull; Excellent organisational skills bull; Meet deadlines Engineering experience is desirable, but training will be provided on internal processes. Pay and Benefits GBP30,000-GBP40,000K per annum (negotiable depending on experience) On-site parking Monday to Thursday ndash; 4 day week.
