Pure Care are seeking a dedicated Cook or Chef to join the catering team at an attractive elderly Care Home in Chichester. The core responsibilities will be to deliver high quality, fresh, home cooked meals for the residents, working 7:30am-6pm in an extremely rewarding setting. Key details ndash; Vacancy Reference PK61485 (Chef) This is a full time, permanent Chef position paying an initial GBP13.75 per hour. The shifts are 7:30am-6pm on a 35-40 hours per week contract working opposite another Cook. This role is working in an intimate 30 bedded Elderly Home that is a part of an independently-owned care company that has a strong history of supporting and developing their staff. Previous experience of working in a Care Home, School or similar environment would be advantageous but is not essential. A good understanding of Health and Safety and COSHH guidelines is required within the Chef role. Qualifications within Catering, Hospitality, Professional Cookery or similar would be looked upon favourably but are not essential.
