Account Manager position in a forward thinking and hugely experienced accountancy practice. Account Manager Position Overview Preparation of Financial Statements: Oversee the preparation of year-end statutory accounts for a portfolio of clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements. Review and finalize financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. Management Accounting: Prepare monthly or quarterly management accounts for clients, providing insights into their financial performance and supporting decision-making processes. Analyse financial data and key performance indicators to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement. Tax Compliance: Manage the preparation and filing of VAT returns for clients, ensuring compliance with VAT regulations and deadlines. Assist clients with tax compliance, including Corporation Tax, Personal Tax, and other tax-related matters. Bookkeeping: Oversee bookkeeping activities for clients, including recording financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and reconciling accounts. Ensure bookkeeping processes are efficient and comply with accounting standards and best practices. Client Management: Serve as the main point of contact for assigned clients, building and maintaining strong relationships based on trust and reliability. Understand clients #39; business needs and objectives, and provide strategic advice and solutions to help them achieve their financial goals Portfolio Oversight: Manage a portfolio of client accounts, ensuring timely delivery of services and meeting client expectations. Monitor client financial performance and identify opportunities for additional services and cross-selling opportunities. Financial Advisory: Provide financial advisory services to clients, including budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management. Analyse client financial data and performance metrics to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
