Maintenance plant manager

Multi Trades Recruitment is looking for Maintenance / Plant Manager to begin work for a well-established company in the shy; shy; shy;Lewes area. About the role: * Working Hours - Mon - Friday * Pay Rate - Negotiable * Long-term work for the right candidate * Start: ASAP Role Responibilities: * Managing and directing the maintenance / workshop team of employees and contractors in both preventative and corrective activities to maximise effectiveness. * Oversee the management of the maintenance, service and inspection schedules identifying opportunities for improvement. * Identify plant and machinery due for replacement or refurbishment. * Review and manage the planned preventative maintenance programme. * Ensure plant and machinery is running at optimal capacity and breakdowns are promptly rectified in a safe and efficient manner. * Develop and maintain records of spare parts ordered and stock itinerary. * Manage procurement of spares and equipment needed to ensure continued operations. * Ensure compliance with all health safety legislation. * Demonstrate experience in a similar role, ideally with a background as Maintenance Manager, Engineering Manager or Mechanical Maintenance Manager. * Have a strong technical knowledge of fixed and mobile plant. * Any heavy industry experience is advantageous.
