As a higher learning teaching assistant you will be required to: Work with the children 1 to 1 and in small groups to provide support and encourage learning. Lead whole class session and potentially have the opportunity to cover lessons due to teacher absence, providing great teaching experience. Assisting the teacher with lesson preparation and teaching materials. Provide positive and constructive feedback to teachers and parents. Keeping the children motivated and excited to learn.Requirements for this HLTA role: Qualification in Education or Teaching Support (HLTA status, CACHE Level 3, NVQ Level 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning). Experience working as a Teaching Assistant. Have an understanding of the UK national curriculum and assessment.
