Teaching assistant

Teaching Assistant required for Reception Class in a friendly and vibrant primary school in Bolton. This Reception TA role is to start as soon as possible and will continue for the full summer term. Your Reception TA role will be to support across all aspects of the Reception Class, including but not limited to: Leading groups for Phonics, Guided Reading, Writing and Maths Supporting children with individual reading Planning and preparing activities alongside the class teacher Making assessments and recording data Leading craft and play activities Creating class displays Preparing indoor and outdoor areasThe school is looking for a Reception TA who can bring a creative and pro-active approach to the team, someone who is able to forge good relationships and work harmoniously with others. You will be expected to have good presence in the classroom and be confident managing behaviour in a positive, sensitive and calm manner. The role is to start as soon as possible and will continue throughout summer term, and possibly in the new academic year in September. It is essential that you have a DBS on the update service and a full CV history back to full-time education. You must have UK classroom experience and professional references covering the last 2 years
