A Secondary Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) is seeking a dedicated Youth Worker to join their team starting in September. As a Youth Worker at our PRU, you will play a crucial role in providing guidance, mentorship, and support to students who may be experiencing difficulties in a traditional school setting. You will work closely with a diverse range of young people, building trusting relationships and empowering them to overcome obstacles and achieve their full potential. Ideal candidates will have a genuine passion for working with adolescents, excellent communication skills, and the ability to remain calm and empathetic in challenging situations. Experience working in a similar role or with young people facing social, emotional, or behavioral challenges is desirable but not essential, as comprehensive training and support will be provided.
