Job Title: Apprentice Production Engineer Location: Haverhill, Suffolk Hourly rate GBP6.40p/h - GBP11.44p/h Hours: 4 -5 days on site per week, possibly 1 day at WSC in Bury St Edmunds (to be confirmed) Contract Type: Full time, permanent Our client based in Haverhill is looking for an Apprentice Production Engineer with an interest in engineering to join their team on a two year apprenticeship learning different roles within an engineering environment including Mig/Tig welding. As Apprentice Production Engineer you will be responsible for: * Learning how to Mig,Tig weld various materials * Assisting Punch/Laser/Press Operator and learn how to set up and operate the different machines * Assisting in the machine shop drilling, tapping, countersinking, milling, turning, inserting and sawing * Assisting the Security Door Team with assembly, wrapping and packing * Assist in the Security Department with engraving, stud welding, and various assembly duties * Additional duties as required. An ideal candidate for the Apprentice Production Engineer will have: * An interest in engineering * The drive to commit to an apprenticeship * Team player mentality.
