Building Surveyor Nottingham, Nottinghamshire GBP36,000 - GBP38,000 + GBP3,000 market supplement Full Time, Permanent Sellick Partnership Ltd are currently recruiting for a Building Surveyor to join one of our Nottingham based clients on a permanent basis Daily duties of the Building Surveyor: Assist in providing a professional and efficient service to effectively manage and deliver the maintenance, improvement and renewal of both land and building assets Respond to and deal with reactive non-planned repairs inc. site inspection, analysis of problem, identification of works required, appointment of contractor and supervision of repairs on a variety of commercial properties Undertake schedules of dilapidations and condition surveys, preparing, coordinating, executing and supervising a planned programme of maintenance, repair and renewal of assets, together with reactive maintenance and major works Preparing specifications, designs and drawings, contract and tender documentation, procure services and complete tender appraisal Provide on site supervision and inspections to ensure contract standards have been met and to take action to rectify defectsEssential experience of the successful Building Surveyor: Minimum five years #39; experience delivering small and medium sized commercial building works Knowledge and experience of building regulations, procurement and JCT/NEC forms of contract Previous experience with managing budgetsIf you believe that you are well suited towards the position of the Building Surveyor then please apply now, for more information contact Ebony Simpson at the Sellick Partnership Derby office Sellick Partnership is proud to be an inclusive and accessible recruitment business and we support applications from candidates of all backgrounds and circumstances.
