Accounts assistant

Our client is a UK registered charity that funds conservation projects around the world. We are seeking a temporary Junior Management Accountant/ Accounts Clerk to join them two days a week for a period of around 2 months. This position would suit someone either qualified by experience or working towards/qualified AAT. This role is not hybrid and will be based in the office for both days. Duties and Responsibilities Processing grant payments using online banking and notifying staff when to authorise payments Updating financial statements Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded. Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports. Bank reconciliations. Accurate entry on to QuickBooks Collating documents to prepare for Auditors Monthly administration of credit card including compiling receipts and posting onto QuickBooks Maintaining online filing for all invoices.Experience Required Essential knowledge of QuickBooks Confident with MS Excel Excellent financial acumen with attention detail Accurate data entryPlease note that no terminology in this advert is intended to discriminate on the grounds of a person #39;s gender, marital status, race, religion, colour, age, disability or sexual orientation.
