Strategic Role: Management Accountant Location: Dewsbury, Wakefield, UK - Office Based Salary Range: GBP35,000 - GBP45,000 per annum, dependent on experience Contract: Full-time, Permanent We are partnering with a leading company in the engineering and manufacturing sector to find a detail-oriented Management Accountant. Role Overview: The successful candidate will be instrumental in providing accurate and timely financial data, supporting the broader team in making informed strategic decisions. This role demands a blend of technical accounting expertise, analytical prowess, and strategic insight, making it an excellent opportunity for a professional looking to make a significant impact. Key Responsibilities: Preparation and presentation of monthly management accounts, ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Performing variance analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement. Collaborating with department heads to develop budgets, forecast financial outcomes, and monitor performance against projections. Managing cash flow and ensuring compliance with statutory law and financial regulations. Supporting the development of internal control policies and contributing to financial planning initiatives. About You: Bachelor rsquo;s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field, with a professional accounting qualification (CIMA, ACCA) being highly desirable. Proven experience as a Management Accountant, Financial Analyst, or in a comparable position within the Engineering or Manufacturing industry. Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial standards (e.g., IFRS, GAAP), and taxation. Proficient in financial software, with advanced Excel skills and experience in ERP systems. Exceptional analytical abilities, attention to detail, and clear communication skills.
