Job Title- Registered Manager Location- Dewsbury Salary- Up to GBP50,000 DOE Contract type- Permanent Working hours- 40hrs Per week About us Inspire provide residential care and support to children and young people between the ages of 3-18 years with a range of needs, such as learning difficulties, complex health needs, physical disability, attachment disorders and life-limiting conditions. About the Service Our home is a cozy nest, welcoming up to 5 children with unique needs and talents. In your new role you will: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the home, including staffing, care plans, and regulatory compliance. Lead and motivate a team of care staff to deliver high-quality care and support tailored to each child #39;s needs. Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents, their families, and external stakeholders. Ensure that the home provides a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment where our children can learn and grow. Implement and monitor policies and procedures to safeguard the well-being of our Children and promote a culture of continuous improvement. Manage budgets, resources, and facilities to ensure the effective running of the home. Attend to practical matters in relation to our Children Young People which may include all aspects of personal care and upkeep of personal equipment Establish positive relationships with young people and always offering them nurturing unconditional and positive delivery of care Meet the physical, emotional, behavioural, cultural and educational needs of young people Undertake child specific training such as Peg feeding, specific health needs and medication competencies including rescue medication Act as a role model by demonstrating appropriate pro-social ways of managing behaviours associated with diagnosis i.e. autism You will ideally have: NVQ/QCF Level 5 in Health and Social Care (Children and Young People) or equivalent qualification. Proven experience in a managerial role within a similar setting, ideally with children or young people with learning disabilities. Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team. A compassionate and child-centered approach, with a commitment to promoting the welfare and rights of children. Knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, and best practices in children #39;s residential care.
