Teaching Assistant GBP108 per day Start ASAP Secondary School based in Twickenham Temp to permanent A small secondary school based in Twickenham are looking for a Teaching assistant who has a good understanding of SEN, to be able support children age 11-16 across their mainstream classes. The Teaching assistant role starts asap. This role in Temp to permanent after 1 term, for the right candidate. The school offer a fantastic enrichment programme for staff to be involved in, also homework and after school clubs. Parking available on site! Teaching Assistant Responsibilities: Work with students on a 1:1 basis and in small group Carry out assessments and observations as instructed by teachers Support with reading and writing - with a focus on students with special needs. As a Teaching Assistant, the students you support will vary age 11-16 Write progress reports for students with SEN and varied abilitiesIdeal skills and requirements: B or above in GCSE Maths, English or Science Experience working with children in any setting/ understanding of SEN Experience working in a care setting e.g support worker or healthcare assistant Enthusiastic attitude towards learning.
