Job Title: Water Treatment Account Manager. Location: Sunderland, Tyne and Wear. Salary / Benefits GBP35k - GBP50k + Company Car + Bonus / Commissioning Scheme We are working with a leading name within the Water Treatment / Water Hygiene industry who are seeking to recruit a Water Treatment Account Manager to join them in the North East region. You will be overseeing and managing steam boiler, cooling tower, and closed system accounts across Food and Beverage, Heavy Industry, Healthcare and High security sites. Due to the nature of the role the successful candidate must have a proven track record working for an established Water Treatment / Water Hygiene company managing accounts for a varied client base. Experience Qualifications: Will have a proven track record working within a sales / account management role. Holding experience working for a Water Treatment / Water Hygiene company is essential to the role. Will have extensive knowledge of steam boilers, cooling towers, closed systems, and necessary chemicals. Able to work well independently, organising workload in line with company / client needs. Detailed knowledge of HSG 274 / ACoP L8 legislation. Excellent customer facing skills, able to communicate well via phone, email, and face to face. IT literate. The Role: Efficiently managing and sourcing new steam boiler, cooling tower, and closed system accounts. Ensuring to upsell and promote services to new and existing clients. Acting as first point of contact for clients, providing support and dealing with any queries and issues. Producing regular financial reports. Training new starters alongside carrying out appraisals and continuous training with existing employees. Working alongside the sales department, ensuring to be actively involved in the sales process. Ensuring to meet targets and KPIs. Producing detailed quotations and tenders. Visiting site to carry out site surveys. Ensuring work complies with HSG 274 / ACoP L8 legislation and internal quality management systems.
