Location: Sunderland, United Kingdom Project Type: Commercial Development Project Start Date: April Project Description: The project is a standard shell core commercial development, specifically a Starbucks build with a car wash component. It involves steel frame construction, cladding installation, and landscaping. The project holds a value just over GBP2,000,000. Job Type: Contract (30 weeks with potential for permanent placement) Salary/Rate: * Contract: GBP300 per day * Permanent: GBP50,000 - GBP60,000 per annum Responsibilities: 1. Oversee all aspects of the construction project in Sunderland, ensuring it meets quality, safety, and timeline standards. 2. Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution. 3. Manage and lead on-site teams, including subcontractors, ensuring effective communication and collaboration. 4. Monitor project progress, budget, and resources, implementing necessary adjustments as required. 5. Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations and company policies. 6. Report regularly to senior management on project status, issues, and resolutions. Requirements: 1. Proven experience as a Site Manager within the construction industry, with a focus on commercial projects. 2. Strong knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and regulations. 3. Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate teams and resolve conflicts. 4. Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail. 5.
