Mechanical engineer maintenance technician ndash; quarrying mining plant

PLANT MECHANICAL ENGINEER / SERVICE ENGINEER REQUIRED FROM A HEAVY PROCESS OR PRODUCTION BACKGROUND TO UNDERTAKE MAINTENANCE AT A PRODUCTION SITE IN THE WASTE MANAGEMENT SECTOR TITLE: Mechanical Engineer / Maintenance Technician ndash; Quarrying Mining SALARY: GBP18 per hr, plus overtime at GBP27p/h GBP36p/h on Sundays, van fuel paid inc. travel to work LOCATION: Newark, mainly site based but occasional travel to other locations may be required. HOURS: 40 Per Week Mon-Fri Days with regular enhanced overtime available, circa 15 hrs per week You will have worked with large capital plant equipment in an industry such as: Quarry, Aggregates, Coal Mining, Waste Management, Aggregates Recycling, Scrap Metal, Steel, Foundry, Cement, Demolition, Production, Processing, Heavy Manufacturing, Plant Hire or similar You may have been a Mechanical Fitter, Maintenance Technician, Multi-skilled Mechanical Engineer, Plant Fitter, Service Engineer, Plant Fitter, Mechanical Technician, Mobile Plant Technician, Quarry Engineer, RESPONSIBILITIES: Mechanical Engineer / Maintenance Technician ndash; Quarrying Mining You will undertake reactive and planned maintenance to mobile and static plant equipment You will ensure you work within safety policies ensuring you wear PPE You will work in a range of processing equipment which may include Loading Shovels, Dumpers, Excavators, Powerscreens, Crushers, Conveyors You may be required to assist in the commissioning of a brand new plant EXPERIENCE: Mechanical Engineer / Maintenance Technician ndash; Quarrying Mining Plant Ideally you will have worked on some of the following Loading Shovels, Dumpers, Excavators, Powerscreens, Crushers, Conveyors, shredders. Any heavy mechanical background considered Qualified Mechanical Engineer, ideally time-served Any electrical multi-skilling a plus You will have worked with large capital plant equipment in an industry such as: Quarry, Aggregates, Coal Mining, Waste Management, Aggregates Recycling, Scrap Metal, Demolition, Large Plant Hire or similar You may have been a Mechanical Fitter, Maintenance Technician, Multi-skilled Mechanical Engineer, Plant Fitter, Service Engineer, Plant Fitter, Mechanical Technician, Mobile Plant Technician, Quarry Engineer
