As one of the premier consultancies in their sector they now need this additional Assistant Accountant appointment to support the finance function going forwards. This role will be a varied one with overview of finance and so each day will be varied in its content and required tasks. Key responsibilities include - -Transactional processing support across the ledgers -Bank recs, Cashbook entry and dealing with petty cash -Assisting the finance team with all period end reporting -Payment receipt allocations As an Assistant Accountant you will be able to demonstrate a varied background in accounts coupled with the ability to manage a heavy workload. You will ideally be AAT qualified or working towards a qualification, with excellent attention to detail and advanced Excel skills.
