Job Title: Key Account Manager Location: Manchester or Birmingham Salary: Up to GBP65,000pa, plus car and bonus Reporting to: CEO We are seeking a dynamic Key Account Manager to join our client #39;s team. This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially astute individual who thrives on building and nurturing relationships while driving business growth. What you will be doing? Develop and maintain strong relationships with key accounts in the logistics, freight, and distribution sectors Conduct thorough analysis of client needs and preferences, and propose tailored solutions from our full range of services Identify opportunities for business expansion within existing accounts and actively pursue strategies for growth Provide value-added services to customers, including reviewing pricing structures and ensuring optimal margins Drive revenue growth and maintain healthy gross profit margins within assigned key accounts Lead and support customer satisfaction initiatives to ensure high levels of client retention and loyalty Generate regular reports on customer activity, sales performance, and revenue forecasts Implement effective sales strategies to achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) and targets Who we are looking for? Previous experience in a similar role within the logistics, freight, or distribution sectors is essential Strong commercial awareness and business acumen, with a proven track record of driving revenue growth Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels Results-driven mindset, with a focus on delivering exceptional service and exceeding targets Ability to work independently and manage time effectively, with a willingness to travel extensively to visit key customers Proficiency in generating and analysing sales reports and forecasts A valid driver #39;s license and willingness to travel extensively (approximately 80% of the time) What are the benefits?
