Job Title: Plant Mechanic Location: Newark-on-Trent, Balderton Salary: GBP18 an hour (Weekly paid) Employee Benefits: * Competitive hourly rate (Weekly Paid) * Company-provided van for work and private use (taxable) * Overtime at Time and a Half after scheduled hours * Double Time on Sundays * 21 days annual leave + public holidays * Company pension scheme * Continuing professional development and training * Employee Assistance Programme * Cycle to work scheme * Access to Westfield Health scheme * Health and wellbeing discount * New car discounts with select dealerships Work Schedule: As a Plant Mechanic your hours will be: Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day Responsibilities: As a Plant Mechanic you will: * Diagnose, repair, and maintain plant equipment safely and efficiently. * Ensure work area and tools are safe, certified, and well-maintained. * Complete relevant documentation with detail and accuracy. * Contribute to achieving Plant Department targets through efficient task completion and effective communication. * Follow all safety protocols, risk assessments, and use appropriate PPE. * Promote a strong health and safety culture in the working environment. Requirements for Plant Mechanic: * Minimum NVQ level 3 or working towards in plant maintenance or equivalent. * Completion of relevant training programs and competency licenses.
