Social worker child protection

MCH are recruiting for a Social Worker (Team Case Manager) for a non for profit organisation that support families within an assessment centre in the Birmingahm area This is a temp Social Worker role to cover long term leave - this may lead to a permanent role in the future, depending on the circumstances. An immediate start is required for this Social Worker/Team Case Manager Role This role as a Social Worker requires you to be a part of the Senior Management Team within the business and to support the staff team and managers with cases that arrive at the service. Families live in the service for 12 weeks and you will be the Social Worker to all their cases. This Social Worker role requires child intervention experience and family assessment, of at least 2 years. You will also be managing a staff team, so experience of this is preferred This Social Worker/Team Case Manager role requires a sound knowledge of children #39;s protection procedures, Working Together Framework, Every Child Matters, Children in Need, Health and Safety, Child Care law, - Children #39;s Act 1989/Children #39;s Act 2004 and safeguarding legislation As the families Social Worker you will need to have experience in assessments and presenting this evidence to the court area for the court of protection If you feel this role is for you, please apply with your CV, ensuring your telephone number is available
