Social worker children families

Balfor recruitment is currently looking for experienced dedicated and passionate, Senior social workers to work as part of the children rsquo;s and families team based in central Birmingham. There are opportunities for social workers available immediately within the Children rsquo;s and Families teams. We are looking for vibrant multiskilled social workers who have experience within Children rsquo;s and families who work with a collaborative approach. Key duties of the role include: * Holding a caseload of Looked after Children * Undertaking Core Assessments under Section 20 * Undertaking Child Protection Enquiries under Section 47 * Undertaking Viability Assessments * Undertaking Kinship Assessments bull; Undertaking Risk Assessments * Liaising/ Working close with partnership agencies to support the families and meet the children/ young people rsquo;s needs. * Preparing implementing Care Plans * Attending court and giving evidence when required * Obtaining Interim Care Orders/Interim Supervision Orders Requirements: * At least 2 years #39; experience as a social worker within children #39;s services * Degree in social work or equivalent * Social Work England Registration * Enhanced DBS * Valid UK Driving License with access to a car * Valid MOT and Insurance for business use Why Join Balfor? * Competitive rewards and pension. * Generous hourly rate. * DBS service. * Referral bonus * Bonus for finding your own job. * Weekly payroll. * Dedicated recruitment consultant who will support you throughout your job search and beyond.
