Apprentice materials technician

Our work is essential to enable HS2 trains to travel between London and Birmingham as well as continue their journey up to Manchester. We currently have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Apprentice Materials Technician within the Labs. As an Apprentice Materials Technician (Level 3) you will be working with our site laboratory team and will be supporting the management and delivery of materials engineering by test the behaviour of bulk construction materials. The results of these tests will be used to improve the performance of existing products, eliminate faults with materials already in use, and to help the development of new technologies. Experienced required An interest in construction, science or laboratory testing. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Work experience and industry awareness is desirable. Full UK Driving LicencePlease note candidates will need to have a current valid right to work in the UK to be considered for this role. Apprenticeship Details: Apprenticeship Standard: Laboratory Technician Level 3. Apprenticeship Length: 24 months.
