Principal production engineer

Title: Principal Production Engineer Location: Salisbury Permanent Salary: GBP55,000 - GBP68,000 Morson Group is excited to offer an exceptional opportunity for a dynamic and skilled Principal Production Engineer to join a world-leading and innovative company based in Salisbury. The role primarily focuses on technical leadership, research and development, project management, training and mentorship of engineers, regulatory compliance and goal setting. As the Principal Production Engineer you will play a critical role in advancing and production capabilities while ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards. The successful candidate will report into Head of Automation Production Engineering. Key Responsibilities: bull; Ensure strict adherence to all relevant regulatory requirements, quality standards, and safety protocols bull; Provide technical leadership to the production team, driving the optimization of manufacturing processes and resolving complex technical challenges bull; Lead research and development initiatives to identify and implement advanced technologies and best practices in production processes bull; Manage production-related projects, including process improvements, equipment upgrades, and capacity expansion bull; Mentor and train engineers and production staff, facilitating the transfer of technical knowledge and skill development bull; Collaborate with senior management to set clear, measurable, and ambitious goals for the Production Engineering Team Qualifications Experience Required: bull; Bachelor rsquo;s Degree in a relevant field such as Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline bull; Experience in project management, leading in a manufacturing environment, and leading multi-functional teams bull; Proficiency in 3D CAD modelling bull; Working understanding of pneumatics bull; Working understanding of Hydraulics bull; New Product Introduction bull; UK Explosive Regulations Knowledge bull; Understanding of Licencing and zones bull; Knowledge of EST precautions bull; DSEAR AND ATEX equipment selection If you are a skilled Principal Production Engineer based in Salisbury then please apply
