Requirements Management to FCAS - Trials, Test ASSC Site Location: Boscombe Down Duration: 12 Month contract Competitive Pay DV/SC Advantageous The Future Combat Air System (FCAS) as a 6th generation Combat Air System will contain complex systems that incorporates the use of novel technologies and manufacturing methods. The UK Global Combat Air Programme (GCAP) Requirements and Engineering teams have a range of requirements including but not limited to Trials, Test and Air System Safety Case (ASSC) activities that bridge across all areas and are required to meet international and national regulatory requirements. Job Specification: Provision of Requirements Management SME to lead in the delivery and through life management of a test, trials and ASSC generation activity, including but not limited to: * Delivering MOD Operator-in-the-Loop (OITL) trials, trials products and deliverables as MOD Trials Manager; * Delivering MOD OITL trials Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and process documentation. * Support to delivering Industry led OITL trials, trials products and deliverables as MOD Trials Manager; * Support to delivering Industry led OITL trials SOPs and process documentation. * Manage and deliver MOD aspects of Core Operator Team and Core Operator Forum; * Support to delivery of ITEA Strategy; * Deputising for MOD Product Owner of FCAS AP Analysis Working Group; * Additional support as part of this output and SME is to be provided to other RM activity as required by the customer, noting that the focus will be leading development, delivery and through life management of ASSC, Test and Trials activity. The SME will deliver support, advice and artefacts directly to the customer for their acceptance and final assurance. Required travel to attend international working groups, locations UK, Italy and Japan. Other adhoc F2F meetings will be required at Boscombe Down, MOD Abbey wood, LSI/LSSI UK Sites
