FORKLIFT OPERATOR - PERMANENT OPPORTUNITY Forte Recruitment are looking for experienced Forklift Drivers to join our busy client in the Basingstoke. ABOUT THIS ROLE: You would be working within a small team, in a high pressured and busy role. Each individual team helps to ensure the smooth running of the company #39;s operations, so you would be playing an important and integral role in the whole logistics process. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES: The successful Forklift Operator will be required to:- * Loading / unloading lorries. * Scanning the products as deliveries come into the warehouse. * Checking the products and placing into storage. * In control of moving the products around the warehouse to various stations. * Ensuring all pressures and temperature controls are up to a certain standard. * Maintaining clean and safe work environment. KEY SKILLS REQUIRED: The successful Forklift Operator must:- * Be a good communicator. * Be self-motivated. * Be able to multi-task and prioritise workloads. * Be able to work well within a small team. * Be able to use own initiative. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: * Full training will be given. * The ideal candidate must be self-motivated, very flexible and a good team player. * The role involves lifting heavy boxes (21kg) repetitively in confined spaces. * The role will involve working Bank Holidays and weekends as per shift pattern. * Flexibility will be required in terms of shift pattern and hours worked, in order to meet the daily demands of the business. If successful you will be required to work 4 days per week, 10 hours per shift ndash; working a total of 40 hours per week. Working an extra day will be paid at time and a quarter. if you work a bank holiday, you will be paid time and a half.
