Warehouse operative nights

Great Opportunity to work as a Warehouse Operative for our client #39;s busy distribution centre. Staffline is recruiting for Warehouse Operatives in Basingstoke. This is a temp to perm opportunity: if you are achieving 100% performance and do not have any absences during your 12 week probation; assuming there is space on the shift, the client will take you on permanently at the end of your twelve week probation. This is a full-time, working a fixed night shift. The hours of work are: - 9pm to 6am The rate of pay is: - During the probation period: GBP13.48 to GBP16.25 per hour ( based on performance ) - After probation period: GBP13.48 per hour + Weekly performance bonus. - After the probation period - The overtime rate ( paid every 4 weeks ) - GBP19.47 per hour. Your Time at Work As a Warehouse Operative at this site you will use mechanical handling equipment to transport products to the assembly areas. Your duties will include: - Picking and packing - Get products ready to be shipped - Maintain a clean working environment Our Perfect Worker Our ideal Warehouse Operative can work accurately and meet targets. You will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. This role is performance-based, so experience of working as a Warehouse Operative would be ideal; however, full training will be provided. Colleagues must be physical fit to lift heavy goods. Basic numeracy, literacy and computer skills are essential. Knowledge of warehouse operations and Health Safety would be beneficial in this role.
