SEND Teaching Assistant Location: Romford Salary: GBP70 - GBP130 per day Start Date: Immediately Contract Type: Full-time Are you a compassionate and dedicated individual with a passion for supporting students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND)? Join us as a SEND Teaching Assistant at our schools in Romford and make a positive difference in the lives of students starting immediately. As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing tailored support and assistance to students with a range of special educational needs and disabilities. Your responsibilities will include working closely with classroom teachers and SEND coordinators to implement individual education plans (IEPs), provide one-on-one support to students, and create a supportive and inclusive learning environment. We are seeking caring and patient individuals who have a genuine interest in supporting the educational and emotional needs of students with SEND. While previous experience in a similar role is beneficial, it is not essential. We welcome candidates who are committed to making a difference and are eager to learn and grow within a supportive team environment. As a SEND Teaching Assistant, your responsibilities will include: Providing one-on-one support to students with SEND, helping them to access the curriculum and achieve their learning goals. Assisting teachers in planning and delivering differentiated lessons that cater to the individual needs of students with SEND. Supporting students with daily tasks, including personal care, mobility, and social interactions. Monitoring student progress and providing feedback to teachers and SEND coordinators. Collaborating with colleagues and outside agencies to ensure the holistic support of students with SEND. The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a patient and empathetic nature. A genuine passion for working with students with SEND is essential for success in this role.
