Drs Direct Ltd are an established recruitment agency, founded in 2007 to offer specialist Occupational Health recruitment and consulting services across the UK to all manner of private and public sector companies. Drs Direct is currently split into three key areas, Occupational Health Nursing recruitment, Occupational Health Physician recruitment and Clinical Coding recruitment. We can offer positions on a permanent, contractual, or casual basis and have multiple vacancies nationwide. About the Role We are currently recruiting for an experienced Occupational Health Advisor. The role is permanent, full time or part time (minimum of 3 days per week) and is site based located in the Birmingham Area. Duties will include but are not limited to: * Undertake Health Surveillance, including vaccinations and phlebotomy as required. * Provide appropriate advice on health and safety issues, rehabilitation, health promotion and education to employers, employees, line managers and HR function. * To provide professional occupational health advice for our clients expediting an early return to work for absent employees, whenever possible, ensuring that cases are actively monitored until the case has reached a satisfactory conclusion. * Develop and maintain close working relationships with client contracts to ensure the highest standards of occupational health delivery. Essential: Occupational Health degree NMC registration. Experience in case management. Demonstrable experience within Occupational Health departments, preferably private sector experience. Experience of attending, presenting, and hosting client Wellness and health promotion days. Knowledge of Outlook and Word is essential, and knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint is desired. Full UK driving licence You will need to be a proactive, friendly, and professional person who is confident managing their own workload.
