Astute #39;s Renewables team is partnering with an international project developer with an astounding pipeline of solar development in the UK markets to recruit a Project Quality Manager for their projects UK-wide. The Project Quality Manager will play a fundamental role to drive the quality-focused-culture the business prides itself on and comes with a salary up to GBP55,000, a car allowance as site travel would be required from time to time, a KPI driven bonus up to 12.5%, 33 days annual leave, pension, health cover and full equipment (included IT) required. Responsibilities and duties Reporting to the Head of Project Management you will: middot; Develop and revise quality processes in collaboration with Supplier Quality Management, Project, and Construction Management. middot; Establish subcontractor quality requirements and continuously develop subcontractor quality management on project sites. middot; Preparation of project quality plan, inspection and test plans and establishment of associated software-based quality control system. middot; NCR Management: analysis of internal and external non-conformities (NCRs), root cause analysis and implementation of corrective and preventive actions. middot; Qualification of new subcontractors in coordination with Purchasing (Category Manager) middot; Quality training for project teams, site staff and subcontractors middot; Independent preparation, execution and follow-up of internal audits and analyses, including follow-ups. Professional qualifications We are looking for someone with the following: Degree educated in engineering, quality control or relevant discipline. Clean UK driving license Personal skills The Project Quality Manager role would suit someone who is: middot; Exceptional knowledge of quality management principles, procedures, and processes. middot; Strong analytical skills and the ability to articulate and solve problems.
