Plant Manager ndash; Tunnelling Coventry, West Midlands GBP40,000 - GBP60,000 We are currently seeking a skilled Plant Manager to oversee our operations in tunnelling, boring, sinking, and pipe jacking. As the Plant Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing our plant facilities, equipment, and resources to ensure the successful execution of projects in these specialized areas. Key Responsibilities: * Lead and manage all aspects of plant operations, including scheduling, maintenance, and resource allocation. * Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment. * Optimize plant performance through effective utilization of resources and implementation of best practices. * Collaborate with project managers and engineering teams to plan and execute projects efficiently. * Oversee the maintenance and repair of equipment to minimize downtime and maximize productivity. * Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs. * Lead and motivate plant staff, providing guidance, training, and support as needed. Requirements: * Bachelor #39;s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (preferred). * Proven experience in plant management, preferably in tunnelling, boring, sinking, or pipe jacking operations. * Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office suite. * Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in construction and heavy equipment operations. * Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
