Furniture technician warehouse operative

Advantage are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a well-established, market leading events hire company based in the Coventry area. They are currently looking for a furniture technician/warehouse labourer to join their existing warehouse team on a temporary ongoing basis. This role offers a genuine opportunity for the right candidate to be offered a permanent position. The purpose of the role is to clean, mend and rotate stock furniture ready for use at exhibitions. This can be on a tight turnaround , therefore working well to a deadline is a must! What You rsquo;ll Do on a Typical Day: * Using a job list to collect stock from location. * Cleaning stock, mending stock, and returning to location ready for use. * Rotate furniture stock, all furniture including but not limited to display racks, cabinets, tables and chairs. * Loading and unloading * Experience within a removals/porter background is preferred due to some heavy lifting. About You: We are looking for someone that can work as part of team and to deadlines. Due to the nature of the role you must be comfortable with some heavy lifting. Due to the site location it is essential you drive and have access to your own vehicle. As part of the 2-x stage interview process , candidates who have successfully completed 1st stage interviews will be required to attend a site tour and practical assessment at the clients site as a 2nd stage interview. GBP11.44 per hour with an enhanced rate for overtime Monday - Friday 8:30am-4:30pm
