Level 2 IT Support Engineer | Based in Dublin however the role involves travelling throughout Ireland | Full Time | euro;45,000.00- euro;55,000.00 Are you passionate about the intricate world of server systems, IVR technologies, and network infrastructures? Founded in 1985, the company has over 30 years rsquo; experience installing and maintaining critical wireless communication systems incorporating: portable two-way radio with multi-site IP Connect, critical-communications radio paging, lone worker alarms, nurse call systems, and digital ndash; tetra radio systems. Due to continued growth, the company is currently recruiting for a Level 2 IT Support Engineer for their Dublin-based company. Are you the right person for the job? A third level qualification in an engineering/IT related subject Minimum 3 year rsquo;s field-based experience in a technical role Strong IT server and network skills The ability to maintain excellent technical records A full clean driver rsquo;s licence Strong interpersonal skills and customer focused, technically competent and commercially aware with strong troubleshooting and analytical skills The ability to work alone or as part of a small team Advantageous skills Experience with RF communications and radio Proficient in the use of a communications analyser, electrical circuit troubleshooting and operation of test equipment Experience with Asterisk PBX systems implementing dial plans Experience with legacy serial communications using the RS-232/RS-485 protocols Experience with distributed antenna systems DAS Fully computer literate, familiar with system management/networking etc What will your role look like? Act as the second point of contact for all Managed Service Customers Install and configure hardware and software Respond to escalated technical support requests from clients in a timely and professional manner Diagnose and troubleshoot advanced IT issues related to hardware, software, networking, and infrastructure Record, track, and document the help desk request problem solving process including actions taken through to the final resolution Support First Line Engineers by coaching, mentoring and knowledge sharing and help with any tickets they may have trouble with What can you expect in return?
