Microsoft application support engineer

A global specialist (re)insurance broker are looking for an experienced Application Support Engineer to join their IT team, and take ownership of their managed and in-house application portfolio. This is a permanent role with hybrid working arrangements - requiring 3 days per week in their Dublin office. This company are incredibly digitally driven, and this role offers the opportunity to be the face of tech in their growing Dublin office. They #39;re fully cloud-based, and you #39;ll be encouraged to get involved with emerging technologies, including AI streams and rolling out Co-pilot. Day-to-day, you #39;ll provide technical application support to business functions within the organisation, and external providers as required. It #39;s a wide-ranging role, where you #39;ll get involved with everything from networking to 1st line support through to 3rd line work too - ultimately ensuring that applications run smoothly, that end users understand how to use them effectively, and that proactive suggestions for improvements are made. This is a really unique opportunity for an Application Support professional to step into an incredibly varied role, with real ownership and autonomy over a modern application portfolio. Requirements : Track-record of providing 1st, 2nd and 3rd line support Experience supporting Microsoft applications - including Azure, Office 365, Intune, Windows, SharePoint Experience with Microsoft Co-pilot would be massively beneficial, but not essential Broad understanding of security principles and high-level understanding of secure development Excellent communication skills, and ability to support Senior LeadershipBenefits: Salary up to EUR 60,70,000 depending on experience Bonus up to 10% Unlimited holidays Private healthcare Please Note: This is a permanent role for UK residents only.
