Experience creating Offline Programmes for 3 and 5 axis CNC Machines is essential. Must be eligible for Security Clearance. Senior Manufacturing Engineer Permanent Dependant on Experience Monday to Thursday, 8:00 ndash; 16:30, Friday, 8:00 ndash; 13:00 Accrington Senior Manufacturing Engineer Job Description Managing technical projects to successfully deliver rate capable solutions to time, cost and quality. Interpreting and assessing technical requirements of products from 3D models, 2D engineering drawings, specifications and instructions. Defining production solutions and equipment requirements, including conceptual scheme and detail design of capital equipment. Develop methods and processes that optimise recurring manufacturing costs in line with business case requirements, driving class leading First Time Right capability. Provide robust, capable processes, fixtures and process instructions which deliver solutions within agreed timescales and to an agreed cost, driving class leading Right First Time capability. Senior Manufacturing Engineer Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications HND or degree qualified in mechanical engineering or relevant technical subject Experience creating Offline Programmes for 3 and 5 axis CNC Machines is essential Ability to visualise novel and complex manufacturing solutions is a prerequisite, ideally coupled with experience of manufacturing system design and discreet event simulation. In-depth working knowledge of complex components and processes such as multi axis conventional and non-conventional machining, wet treatments, surface modification, ALM, bonding, joining and final assembly activity across multi manufacturing disciplines.
