Accounts assistant

Our superb client with offices based in Kings Lynn is seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant to join them on a full time permanent basis working Monday to Thursday 8.30am-5.30pm Friday 8.30am - 4.30pm. This is a fully office based role. Responsibilities As Accounts Assistant, you will be responsible for:- * Matching, batching and coding supplier invoices * Inputting purchase ledger invoices * Gaining invoice authorisation * Processing supplier payments * Generating sales ledger invoices * Cash allocation * Credit control * Dealing with supplier queries * Scanning documentation * Banking * General admin and filing duties. Skills required To be considered for the role of Accounts Assistant you will have:- * Previous and recent purchase ledger and sales ledger experience * Invoice processing / invoice generation in a high volume environment. * Ideally experience of chasing customers for payment. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills. * Highly numerate with excellent attention to detail. * Strong team working skills.
