Mechanical technician

Role : Mechanical Technician Type : Permanent Location : Wiltshire Salary : GBP 35,000 : GBP 40,000, dependent on experience My client designs and manufactures engineering equipment and machinery, and they are looking to take on a Mechanical Technician, on a permanent basis, in the Wiltshire area. The Mechanical Technician will ideally have the following attributes: : Experienced working in a workshop environment : Mechanical Assembly and Manufacturing skills : Able to read and work to Engineering Drawings : Knowledge of special purpose machinery : Knowledge of MIG / TIG Welding : Experienced using centre:lathes, turret mills, pillar drills etc. : Excellent communication skills and attention to detail : Team player The Mechanical Technician role will involve: : Mechanical assembly of a variety of products and equipment : Working with special purpose machinery : Working to project specifications and deadlines : Participating in technical training : Working to procedures and instructions : Communicating with different departments to resolve technical issues If you are interested in this position, please apply with an up to date CV as soon as possible.
