Mechanical technician

ROLE : Mechanical Technician LOCATION : West Berkshire TERM : Permanent SALARY: GBP 30,000: GBP 38,000 per annum (dependent on experience) My client designs and manufactures products and systems within the Renewable Energy sector. They are looking for a Mechanical/Field Technician to join their team in Berkshire on a permanent basis. The Mechanical Technician will ideally have the following attributes: : Excellent hands:on engineering skills : Have a Mechanical background and a relevant qualification : Experienced with routine servicing, maintenance, testing and assembly of mechanical systems and electromechanical equipment : Able to read engineering drawings and BOMs : Excellent communication skills and attention to detail : Team player : Be flexible to travel 1 or 2 days a week, or as required : Holds a full UK Driving Licence The Mechanical Technician role will involve: : Assembly, testing, maintenance and servicing of mechanical systems and electromechanical equipment : Some travel to customer sites to deliver and service equipment and machinery : Routine maintenance and repair on a variety of components and equipment : Working to procedures and instructions : Testing and fault:finding : Repair and calibration : Working both independently and in a team : Communicating with different departments to resolve technical issues If you are interested in this position, please apply with an up to date CV as soon as possible.
