Teaching assistant

A welcoming village school with an emphasis on setting high expectations of its pupils is looking for a range of support staff across their school in both general and 1:1 capacity. This is a popular school within the North Somerset area rated as lsquo;Outstanding rsquo; in all areas of their most recent Ofsted inspection. The role itself will be working with a child with autism on a 1:1 basis and delivering content pre planned by the class teacher. Job Duties Being proactive in supporting children with SEND, Having a good level of patience and resilience, Supporting with providing teaching resources and being able to interpret plans. Promoting activities to aid natural curiosity and knowledge Supporting children with interventions. What you need to apply: Prior experience of working with children isn #39;t necessary but you need to demonstrate genuine passion, Prior experience in schools is desirable but not essential, Enhanced Child workforce DBS on the update service (we can assist with application) Legal right to work in the UK.
