BDS have an exciting opportunity for an experienced assistant Care Manager for a sheltered Housing retirement living complex, based in Sutton Working Hours are 35 hours a week to include alternate weekends Service hours are between 7am and 8pm Pay rate of GBP27,212 per annum with an annual pay increase Many other benefits of working for the company (details available on request) This role is working within a sheltered housing retirement living scheme, they provide an outstanding retirement living service with access to an onsite care team and range of social activities. Key tasks will include Carrying out assessment of new or existing residents. Ensuring all allocated residents have a comprehensive care plan in place Being responsible for the management and performance of care staff by providing induction, line management, supervision and support to a defined number of care workers Support the management team with all aspects of team management including recruitment, staff induction, training and disciplinary procedures and sickness absence Preparing rota rsquo;s in line with commissioned care hours Acting as the responsible person for the safe running of the care service in the absence of the Registered Manager The successful candidate will have experience in * Staff observations * Staff 121 rsquo;s * Care plan writing * Residents assessments * Auditing of mar charts and log sheets * A good understanding of CQC regulation and how to apply these in practice You will be required to have an adult enhanced DBS already in place, prior to applying for the job.
