Primary teaching assistant

Career Teachers are seeking an experienced Primary Teaching Assistant for a fantastic Islamic Faith school in Clapham, South London! We are looking for someone to work with a Year 5 class, preferably with experience/skills in English, Maths, and ICT. This role is beginning immediately, and is full-time. As a Teaching Assistant, you #39;ll work closely with class teachers to ensure each child fulfils their potential. You #39;ll engage with students individually or in small groups, potentially including those with additional learning needs such as ASD, ADHD, Learning Difficulties, and more. Qualifications and Experience: We #39;re looking for candidates with prior childcare or school-related experience - babysitting, tutoring, coaching, summer camps, teaching assistant roles, etc. While experience with special educational needs is a plus, it #39;s not mandatory. You will also need: A valid and up-to-date Enhanced DBS, on the Update Service, Valid Right to Work status in the UK, And excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a passion for education!
