About the role - Primary Teaching assistant - Lewisham There is an opportunity for a Primary teachers assistant in a mainstream school in Lewisham. You will support children from KS1 to KS2, and you will be assisting the teacher with daily tasks around the day to day routine. Teachers #39; assistants in primary schools work closely with children to support their academic abilities, such as providing assistance to students who have special needs or learning disabilities on a daily basis. As a primary school teaching assistant, you will work with students either individually or in groups - therefore building a good relationship with the children you work with is an essential part of your job description. There will be a lot of interaction between you and teachers, the SENDCO and other teacher assistants in the Primary School.
