Quantity surveyor

Company Description Our Client is a leading civils construction company based in Tonbridge, specializing in Civil Engineering, Groundworks, Highways, Drainage, Infrastructure, Hard Landscaping, and Plant Hire Services. We collaborate with developers and main contractors throughout the South East of the UK to deliver high-quality projects. Role Description This is a full-time role for a Quantity Surveyor. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for day-to-day tasks such as cost control, budgeting, preparing bills of quantities (BOQ), cost management, cost planning, and cost reporting. Qualifications * Strong knowledge and experience in cost control, cost management, and cost reporting * Proficiency in preparing bills of quantities (BOQ) and cost planning * Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills * Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team * Attention to detail and strong organizational skills * Effective communication and negotiation skills * Proficiency in relevant software and tools * Relevant professional qualifications or certifications (e.g., RICS, CIOB) are highly desirable
