Our client, a leading organisation based near Cannock, Staffordshire, is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Health and Safety Administrator to join their team. Job Description: As a Health and Safety Administrator you will be responsible for ensuring the implementation and maintenance of effective health and safety procedures across the organisation. This office-based role will require you to work closely with HR manager and employees to identify potential hazards, develop safety policies, and promote a culture of safety awareness. Key Responsibilities: Conduct regular inspections and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Develop and implement safety policies and procedures to minimize risks and promote a safe working environment. Provide guidance and support to management and employees on health and safety matters. Investigate accidents and incidents, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence. Deliver health and safety training programs to employees as required. Keep abreast of changes in health and safety legislation and ensure organizational compliance.Requirements: Proven experience working in a health and safety role, preferably in an office environment. Knowledge of health and safety legislation and regulations. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. NEBOSH or IOSH qualification preferred but not essential.Benefits: Competitive salary of GBP28,000 - GBP30,000 per annum.
