Electrical technician

Role: Electrical Technician Salary: GBP33,600 + (15% shift allowance) Location: Blackwood Rhino Recruitment is working on this role on behalf of their client who are looking for a new candidate to join their engineering department. We are looking for a candidate who is flexible and uses their own imitative to deal with problems that may occur in this role, but someone who is a team player with knowledge of using high speed and/or food processing production machines. Key Responsibilities: middot; Provision of engineering and operational support to a manufacturing area middot; Machine setting, to achieve product specification and performance middot; Maintenance of automated inspection systems middot; Fault finding and corrective action middot; Machine inspection middot; Responding to minor breakdowns middot; Preventative maintenance middot; Major breakdowns middot; To achieve compliance with all Health, Safety and Environmental middot; requirements, Food Safety requirements, Legislative requirements, middot; GMP and company policies and procedures. Preparation of sub-assembly middot; Other tasks as reasonably requested by the Manager middot; To maximise the department machines rsquo; output and maintain the manufacturing processes within the designed specification. shift pattern : Week 1: Days, Monday to Friday, 06:00 ndash; 14:00 Week 2: Nights, Sunday to Thursday, 22:00 ndash; 06:00 Week 3: Afternoons, Monday to Friday, 14:00 ndash; 22:00 middot; To work with other team members to continuously improve manufacturing performance. Qualifications/ requirements middot; A formal qualification in appropriate subject ONC/HNC, BTEC/City and Guilds in a Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Discipline/apprenticeship middot; Knowledge of high speed and/or food processing production middot; Machine setting middot; Fault finding and problem solving middot; Plc, pneumatics, robotics desirable middot; Adaptable and able to connect with others middot; Team orientated/ collaborative Job Type: Full-time Pay: GBP37,540.00-GBP38,546.00 per year Benefits: * Company pension * Free parking * On-site parking Experience: * Electrical engineering: 1 year (required) Licence/Certification: * Driving Licence (preferred) Work Location: In person
