Quality manager

Elevation Recruitment Groups Engineering and Manufacturing division have a unique and exciting role with a leading manufacturer, to recruit a Quality Manager at their Chesterfield site. This role requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise in metallurgy and manufacturing processes, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Reporting into the sites senior engineering team, the quality manager will have a large amount of autonomy to manage product quality as well as the Quality Management System. Duties and Responsibilities of the Quality Manager include: Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions in a timely manner. Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality processes, reduce defects, and optimize production efficiency Management of team of Quality Professionals Manage quality defects and liaise with customers and suppliers to resolve them The business are well-respected in their field and are renowned for looking after their staff, therefore the quality manager will be joining a company with excellent retention rates and a very generous package. The Quality Manager should possess: Ability to manage in fast paced manufacturing facility Knowledge of Six Sigma and continuous improvement tools Strong knowledge of metallurgy, metal forming processes, and quality assurance principles.
