Cover Supervisors Salary: Scale 5 (GBP23,372) actual, per annum. 37 hours per week, term time only plus 5 days. We wish to recruit two new Cover Supervisors to manage the delivery of set curriculum work in the absence of a class teacher. The Cover Supervisor rsquo;s main job is to ensure high standards of behavior are maintained, students remain on task and they therefore make effective progress. This opportunity is ideal for those who are passionate about making a difference to the education outcomes of young people, or who may be considering entering the teaching profession in the future or even qualified teachers seeking a change in role. You will be provided with good professional development opportunities and the chance to accompany school trips should you wish to. Applicants should have the confidence and presence to manage whole classes, as well as the skills to relate positively to individual students and staff. In addition, the role will require flexibility in undertaking other activities to support departments depending on the needs of the school.
