Leaving Care Personal Advisor Ashton-under-Lyne, Tameside Umbrella Pay- GBP19.14 - GBP20.86 per hour 13/05/2024 ndash; 3 months initially Monday to Friday, 8.30am ndash; 5pm, 36 hrs/week ndash; Hybrid - All Duty days must be worked from office base and normally 2 to 3 days per week in office Our client are seeking a Personal Advisor to join a leaving care team based in Tameside. * Provide support, guidance and interventions to young people as they develop into adulthood, progress to achieve their own tenancies and become part of their wider communities * Provide financial support and help them work on their financial skills and budgeting * Help gain access to appropriate accommodation, education, employment and training * Help maximise their involvement in community based activities * Liase with other agencies on their behalf * Implement child protection procedures where children/ young people may be at risk * Attend, plan and carry out reviews and home visits * Follow and implement recommendations of reviews and pathway plans * Keep accurate and up to date records Requirements * UK Driving Licence, access to a vehicle, business insurance * Recent extensive experience working with young people aged 16-21 in difficulty in a professional capacity * Knowledge of the leaving care regulation * Must be able bodied, robust and have a positive attitude * Enhanced Child and Adult DBS registered to the update service Recruitment is done in line with safe recruitment practices. 4Recruitment Services in an equal opportunities employer.
